Abstract

Ilan Plain is rich in geothermal resources. To understand the shallow underground structure is conducive to the development and application of geothermal resources. Gravity survey is often used to derive underground density distribution, and then explore the underground structure. In this study, the gravity data of land and marine gravity data were collected, and the Bougrer anomaly map of Ilan Plain has been obtained. The gravity anomalies reflected by different depths were separated by gravity signal separation method. According to analysis residual gravity anomalies, the tectonic distribution of Ilan Plain has been observed. The quantitative analysis was based on the geologic and seismic data of the study area. By modeling the two-dimensional north-south pofile of Ilan Plain, the shallow structure of the Ilan Plain was discussed from the similarities and differences between the model and the residual gravity map.
